Location

In Fuengirola you will find the most remarkable ruins of Suel from the Roman age. There are the thermal baths and the salting factory that are found in the Roman site known as the Finca del Secretario, or Secretary's Estate. Here is where the famous Venus was found and which is currently on exhibit in the area's cultural center, the Casa de Cultura. In this old Roman town, which is in the process of being excavated today, three thermal springs were discovered as well as a "praefurnium." The most outstanding celebration in Los Boliches was, and continues being, the one of the Virgin of Carmen.
The passion that the Boliche village feels for this holy figure is evident each year in the crowded procession in which the image of the Virgin is carried to the sea on the shoulders of the sailors.

A must-see is the Sohail Castle which is located next to the hotel.

When talking about the Virgin of Carmen festival we must also mention the festival of the Virgin of Rosario in October and the fair (6-12/10).

In the modern part of Fuengirola you will find shops, a marina, a beachfront promenade, etc.

There are several places of interest near the hotel such as the town of Mijas, Malaga, Marbella, the zoo, the waterpark and the Picasso Museum.
